Sociology/International Relations Double Major?

Would these two majors work well in conjunction? I'm interested in working with NGOs/NPOs and eventually pursuing a law degree. I originally thought I'd major in Sociology and either double major or minor in Poli Sci, but the more I look at it the more IR seems suited to my interests. The college I'll be attending (SUNY Geneseo) offers a concentration in developing world studies, which seems like a good choice considering I'm interested in human rights organizations. Should I just focus on IR and drop Sociology, or are the two related enough that studying both would be a good idea? Also, I might consider a minor in Public Administration? Is it crazy to have a double major and a minor?

@ ReInventor

The two majors do work together for your future career goals. Double majors and a minor are not uncommon. I pursued a double major in college without any regrets. Choose the majors you do well in and what you like.
