someone please help

so i've been planning to major in creative writing, and was thinking about philosophy. i spoke to someone who double majored in english and philosophy, and he said that a philosophy major is looked up higher than an english degree for grad school. and i said that i wasn't planning on grad school. and he said that it's most likely i'll go back to grad school with either degree. he had to go back to professional school after working odd jobs. so, i was planning to double major. but i've taken up a few drama classes and i like them a lot. i dreamed of being an actor when i was younger, but realized it was unrealistic so gave up the dream. but i was just going to take a course in drama for fun. i actually wasn't going to continue taking anymore. but it turned out that i actually liked the classes so much, i even dreamed about going to class, and it made me sad to not take anymore, so i signed up for the rest of the acting series the day before classes started. i'm far too behind in the requirements to complete the drama major, but it makes me sad to not do things related to the theater. i think about theater when i'm in other classes. it's rather sad. i have to convince myself i don't want to do it, but my subconsciousness proves otherwise. i want to be a playwright, and i think it'd be pretty cool to work in a theater. but i guess what pulled me away from the major was i didn't really want to take tech theater or theater history courses. i didn't think those were important. so yeah. i don't know. double major for consideration of the future? or continue doing what i like? I have no idea what i can do what a creative writing major, and i'm not good enough to go to creative writing school with that. and a major in theater won't guarantee anything. i was thinking of trying to work for a theater after graduation. i don't know what to do. ><
