I'm studying Anthropology at UCSC right now but am really not enjoying my overall experience on campus. I'm a freshman and would like to transfer to another school as soon as possible, but I've heard that the Anthro program is great here and the professors are very prestigious and accomplished in their fields. Of course, I don't want to jeopardize the quality of my education just because I'm having a difficult time socially. Are there any other good Anthro programs in California at schools that would perhaps take first-year transfers?
