english or international relations?

I have a 3.87 GPA and a 4.07 weighted GPA.
My SAT is 1900.
CR- 660
M-670
W-570
getting Oct score tomorrow

My grades for English classes:
Fresh Eng-A/A
Hon Soph Eng-B/A
Hon Jun Eng-A/A

My grades for History:
Hon World His- A/A
AP Euro His- A/A--5 on AP Test
Summer US His- A/A
Summer Gov/Econ-A/A

Currently taking:
AP Sen English

So I was wondering if I had a better chance getting into a competitive college with English as a major or International Relations?

I'm more concerned about getting in because I can always switch majors..

Got my SAT scores-- 2070

CR--700
M--700
W--670

What are my chances of getting into UCLA or UC Berkeley? Which major is recommended if I'm just concerned with getting in?

You don't need an "or". I'm planning to major in both English and IR.
