What would be good extracurriculars if you wanted to be an education major or teacher? There is an FEA (Future Educators of America) club at my school, and I already tutor/peer-edit papers at my school. What else is out there?
Try to be as involved as possible with kids. Work at a camp in the summer, volunteer with children's programs at your public library, etc. If you have time, you may want to shadow a teacher.
