Yeah, I'm an applicant from Idaho, and I just got a letter today that states I have been "forwarded to the next level of judging". This is my first letter so far...so have I been love to districts or state? Also, I haven't received a phone call at all either. So I'm a little confused.
Man, I haven't heard anything from my local elks lodge yet... I called two weeks ago and said they'd be giving out results the following week (which was last week), but I never got an email or a letter. Should I call the lodge again?
@Mythreekids, I turned it into the Tawas lodge. I just received word today that I am advancing to the next stage of competition (states). Once again, I'm from Michigan.
We haven't heard anything back since the original letter. I wonder if they send letters one way or another? I will call on Monday to see if there is any further update! Thanks Artisan!
I received a call today and I have been selected as the 1st place winner of my district in Georgia. I will receive a $1250 check and will move on to the state level of competition. Good Luck to everyone else out there! I am super excited!
I moved onto States!!! I don't know how much money I got from Local (I know I'll be getting at least some money from them) or District (don't know if they give their own scholarships or not), but I moved on!!!
