my goodness you guys, chill. Stressing about this won't change anything, no one knows a thing about this scholarship since it's first year so we don't know what to expect. Don't make assumptions, you're just bringing people's hopes up for them to be squashed down later if they get rejected.
I emailed the lady at san dish responsible for the scholarship and she said we should hear back by the end of this week as in june 9th!! Good luck to everyone though!!!
I'm guessing it won't be today then. And hopefully they live up to what they're saying, but usually scholarship notifications aren't sent out on the weekends.
There really is 27 scholarships for 4300 semi finalists, I called and followed up with an email. Those are the stats. And some of that will go to the high level schools mentioned in the above replies.
Just dont be crushed if you dont get this award, the chances are slim.
the factor we dont know is how many of the 4300 semi finalists actually got their paperwork in on time, so the competition is less than 4300 im sure.
I'll be buried in debt from college anyway. Lol. Good luck to all.
