| Congrats to Illinisue, BBoyd and BroadwayCorey! Happy happy!
Benjy...hang in there. You have a good attitude. Listen to what abparent said as it is so true....for everyone who has had some success, they have also had disappointments or setbacks. It goes with the territory. Good luck on the rest.

| Nothing yet for our son - so for all those still waiting to hear, you're not alone. The mail came and went today. Although his teacher told him it would be Friday. How does he know these things? Perhaps he knows a "mole" in the postal service. Best wishes to all! |

| My letter came today: I am WAITLISTED for Musical theatre!!!
abparent: My sister didn't receive her letter today, either... Kind of odd. There must be a HOLE in the postal service! I guess we'll all find out by Friday or Saturday, anyway!
Best of luck to everyone!

Reason: meant to say: "hole" not "mole"...

| I got my letter today.
Unfortunately it was a rejection.
I live in Southern California.
I agree there must be a hole in the postal service because I'm about as west as you can get.
Well, best of luck  |

| I'm still waiting as well. I fell asleep waiting for the mail to come, and when I woke up, there was still nothing there from Otterbein... |

| ActingReacting, sorry for this disappointment. Please know that when there are only four slots for boys and four for girls, that there are many more that are good enough to get in but they can't take them all. Hopefully, other schools will work out and in any case, you'll pursue what you are interested in as there are many ways to do that.
Kegosnell....wow, that is quite good to be waitlisted! I know DoctorJohn has said that they don't accept more than the number of slots available due to the small size of the program and so they do go to the waitlist if not all 4 girls, or boys, depending on your gender, choose to enroll. So, ya never know! No matter what, that is a great accomplishment to get to this point.

| Otterbein Acceptance I haven't posted for a long time at the request of my S. but felt I had to share the good news. Yesterday he received his acceptance into the BFA in Musical Theater with a Concentration in Dance. Our entire family is ecstatic! He also received very generous academic and talent awards. Thank-you, thnak-you Dr. John! You made our day! (not to say month and year) :-}

| CC BFA MT at Otterbein? Thank-you for your kind words, Soozievt. I'm wondering if my S is the first CC kid to get into Otterbein's BFA MT program. Just curious . . .
