Hello all-

It was fantastic! We were able to drive up (we live in Cincinnati) and attend the show - what talent!! I am looking forward to seeing more shows there - and all of our kids in them! I was quite surprised at how many freshman and sophomores had leading roles in the performance. The music, costumes, set, lighting - everything was terrific. They had a reception following the show - but since it was already 10 pm and we still had to get home and Kyle had school tomorrow - we couldn't stay. Next spring's musical is Peter Pan. If anyone can make it is worth the trip. How far away is everyone? I know my son (Kyle) has been in communication w/ some of the class on facebook - but not sure if everyone in this thread is also on facebook.

Kate

Wow Kate so glad you were able to go and give us the review. How exciting for you and your son! My D has joined the facebook group too but I don't think she has had any time to really explore it. We live about 10-1/2 hours away but if my D is lucky enough to get a part next year, I WILL be there! Peter Pan, that should be a good one too!

My D and I are driving up on the 25th. Can't wait to see the show!! We live 7 hours away but since it is a holiday weekend we thought we would take advantage of it. We also plan on exploring Westerville and the mall of course. My D is also in the facebook group (both of them). She is really enjoying talking with students from all types of majors including MT.

Just a quick note to second the applause for Hello, Dolly! We travelled out to see the show and it was well worth it. Terrific! You can see that everyone on stage and behind the scenes puts their all into it. The talent from ensemble to leads was excellent! The orchestra, costumes - also wonderful. If any prospective students are visiting next weekend you should absolutely try to make the show. Great job!
