Did anyone go to the Christmas Concert Sunday

I know Camerata performed but not sure what other groups performed. My D was part of a quartet that performed and I wanted to go so badly but it is just too far. I would love to hear comments of anyone that might have gone.

Hi!

I was able to go on Sunday (we live in southwest Ohio) - it was a wonderful concert. There were 3 groups that performed - the Otterbein Vocal Ensemble - they sang 4 songs - 3 were in Latin. 16 singers - I'm sure they were vocal performance majors - I know one of the kids in the group - and he is a freshman VP major. Exceptional voices.

The Camerata sang next - 5 songs. This is the freshman class (my son is in this one) and the quartet was quite good - I was paying attention as a friend of my son's was singing! (he was the bass) Wonderful voices in this class also - we have alot to look forward to!

The last group was the Otterbein Singers - they also did 5 songs - and this is the sophomore, junior and senior class - so a much larger group.

It was an excellent concert - and very well attended - by students and the community. The church was lovely and practically full - both on the main floor and the balcony. There were several other musical events happening this week that I would have loved to attend if only we lived closer! :-)

Kate, thank you so much for the update! My D was the Alto in the quartet!
I hope I can go to the next concert they have. She loves OC so far and is very pleased with her teachers and progress.
