Nice to hear the dogma is being revisited. The idea that we could stop the Earth's natural cycle with emissions controls never sat right with me.

Yeah, but it's going to be too late to save the economy from the cult-like, climate zealots.

Gee, what a surprise! A right wing columnist for the Wall Street Journal writes a slanted, inaccurate story claiming that there's a "growing number" of "skeptics" and CC's usual suspects start salivating like Pavlov's dogs (complete with Tega ranting about Al Gore as if he has any significant role in the issue.) Of course, the consensus among real scientists remains undisturbed.

Could knock me over with a feather.

Meanwhile, for the adults in the audience, NASA's chart of global temperatures over the past 100 years: 2008 Global Temperature : Image of the Day

Zoosermom, before you accuse others of "cult-like" behavior you owe it to yourself to at least read the Luntz memo where the themes which were designed to create your opinions are laid out. If you're going to be a propaganda victim, you might as well read the propagandist's manual. Of course, Luntz himself knows and acknowledges that the manipulative tools he designed were intended to create false beliefs. But that's OK - he's one of the puppet masters, not one of the puppets!

Me too. My friends mom is from there and still has family over there and I'm hoping they could sponsor me, haha.

Did you read the post Kluge? Cult-like behavior of zealots. Pretty specific, no? But let's define "zealotry" shall we? "Undue or excessive zeal; fanatacism." Yep. That fits. I stand by it.

Now, of course, had I said something along the line of "everyone concerned about climate change" you might have had a point. I didn't, so you don't.

You guys are willfully ignorant. The science is as clear as can possibly be, yet you guys still follow the lies peddled by the far right and the oil and gas industry. That article presented nothing new, it's always been a small minority that come out so strongly as deniers. It's interesting that the politician from Australia is such a denier - his country is facing the worst draught it has ever seen. Why? Climate change ..

Don't believe me? Debate me on it. Give me something that proves that climate change is just a big hoax. Give me some piece of evidence that the left chooses to ignore. I GUARANTEE you that it will be either misrepresented, or fabricated.

Did you read the draft report, Zotan?

The science is the farthest thing from clear. So, so, so silly. To give away prosperity and for what? To feel good about yourselves? Perhaps a gold star would suffice.

From your own EPA

I thought science was going to move front and center in policy decisions?
