I really must get out more, and check out that site, hayden.
Perhaps after the Chicken Rosemary Raviolis are finished cooking.

Forget the 'ritas cici ... far too civilized for the crass, nonintellectual-types who think the world of Sarah Palin, don't ya think? Bring on the tequila shots and cerveza chasers. Yee haw mi amiga.

Can I be your campaign advisor, Celtic?
| Absolutely! LGM is my wingman Well, Lt Gov. actually. We would be unstoppable!!
Ldmom- I'm going to create a new office just for you. Secretary of Adult Beverages. You would totally rock and your approval ratings would be even higher than 'The One's'. Doncha think?

"What's been amazing to me, is how much bad blood is between the McCain staff and Paiin and her staff. It seems that of the nasty charges made against Palin, some of the worst came from within the McCain campaign itself."
Well, I don't think McCain's people knew what they were getting into [ her choice wasn't well thought out regarding the question of if she was qualified enough to be POTUS, let alone whether she could speak in coherent english] and after they realized that she was not a help but a hindrance to McCain's overall chances of election, it was all McCain's campaign could do to keep the internal finger pointing and blame game from going public.

Anything you want my dear, anything. The title Czar does fit you better. Also, no one but LGM and I have to approve you. I'll appoint many czars, what's good enough for our President, is good enough for me. Who needs all those pesky checks and balances. We will totally rock!

Menlo,
Freezer section. Add a nice salad, some bread, and wine (watch out for Hindoo!), and you have the makings of an amazing dinner. (Note: if you hide the plastic bag, nobody has to know!)

yum! thanks for steering me in the right direction. I thought I had seen some chicken ravioli in the deli section, but I'll head on over to the freezer section instead.

Time will tell what the real reason was that Palin resigned. I have the feeling that it will be revealed within the next 6 weeks. No one resigns from being a governor for the reasons she has given thus far.

I'm assuming the same NSM. Except....not sure how you arrived at six weeks. But the reason is not only vague at present, but doesn't make logical sense which leads me to believe there are other reasons that will eventually come out.

Wow. Gone for a few hours and looky what happens.
DS came into town tonight for a wedding. We all talked about Palin's resignation over dinner (after sharing a few Michael Jackson jokes that were in poor taste but were funny - one of which shared a great line with Palin's "protecting the children" line.. but far be it from me to post an off-color joke on cc )
But I digress... DS commented that SP had a book deal and probably a speaking tour being lined up which is (a) far more lucrative and IMO (b) perhaps better suited for her with more prepared speeches on topics of her choosing. She does present well, and her experience as a broadcaster and in pageants have prepared her well for that kind of format.
Glad to see that this thread has taken the heat off the other political/religious ones. As the world of CC turns. Oh, and GA2012mom- if you want to hear any of the marginally acceptable jokes, or get an address, let me know.
