This season is excellent. I love the add of the new "steal" rule. These people are so talented. It's sad they will all be forgotten even if they win haha.

BTW, Carson Daily is the most boring host.
And I can't believe no one stole J.R.

For me, rising in stature versus their blind audition round: De'Borah and Amanda Brown.
Falling in stature (slightly) from their blind audition round: Bryan Keith. No other "surprises" for me.
I still like Gracia and think she is ready right now to make a name for herself in country music. I absolutely love De'Borah but wish she would go back to the look she had during her battle round rehearsal. I think her stage look is somewhat distracting and takes away from her performance. Loved the guest coaches.
CeeLo definitely tripped up in the strategy department when he paired JR and Diego together instead of putting them with Amanda and Trevin. Losing Amanda definitely weakens his team.

I also like this stealing twist, but did they lengthen the season? If not, then they will have to be eliminating people faster somehow. Did anyone one else think that three of the judges looked different last night? Christina was covered, Cee Lo ditched the glasses and Adam looked a bit cleaned up - shaved? I didn't like any of the three country singers.

| I agree!!, and I think CeeLo realized his mistake during the first coaching session w/ Amanda and Trevin. Quote: |

| I think last night was an “off” night for Carson. IMO, He is best during the Blind Auditions.

Agree re Brian Keith, jshain. I was really put off by his all-too-frequent off pitch moments. I don't even remember Amanda Brown from the auditions. She was the big surprise.
But I like everything about De'Borah. A really unique artist. And her parents' pride and support is very touching. (Even if it is being played up for TV. ) I can imagine that they have taken some lumps in the past.

jym626, Christina stole Chavonne the former Lady Gaga backup singer. There were some good battles on Tuesday night's show but only Christina had a "steal" left to use, so there wasn't much added drama.

No one watching The Voice this week or last?
Monday night's battle rounds were just so-so for me. Tonight had an epic battle between Adriana and Jordan of Team Christina. I'm not going to reveal the outcome, in case you haven't seen the show yet, but it was a crying shame that Christina had the only steal left, so Adam, CeeLo, and Blake couldn't steal the loser! I thought the loser of this battle had the better performance overall.

I'm watching it. I was disappointed that we didn't get to see the battle with Brian S: I really liked him in the auditions. Thought the battle between Nicole and Brandon (is that the right name?) was weird, because of the age difference. She was in a strange position, since her relationship with him was almost motherly. Their duet was tremendous, glad she won, wished someone had stolen him.

I really like Avery to take it all. I can't believe that he's only 15! I have a hard time keeping all the name straight so found The Voice's homesite helpful: The Voice - Official NBC Site |

Avery really does have a VOICE. Also, he can bust a move. |

Team Adam and Team Blake's final 5 performed Monday night. From the opening group number, which I thought was a train wreck, through most of the show, I was underwhelmed. The one notable exception was Amanda Brown. That girl can sing.

Our power was out last week and I just now looked at the website and realized that Avery was kicked off.
I swear there must be something about a live performance that doesn't translate to tv because from the comments of the judges you would think every one of the performers sang really, really well. I too was underwhelmed. Agree about Amanda Brown. I also thought that Bryan Keith did well, not outstanding but well.
