Anybody visit the Martin guitar factory in Nazareth PA?

Hello--

Planning a quick trip to visit both Lafayette and Lehigh before summer is over. Looking for something son (passionate about guitar) would enjoy.

From what I've read online this looks like a fun take (factory tour, museum, shop)--any thoughts out there?

Thanks

I did, and it was great! Allow yourself time to tour the museum also, preferably with a guide, and try out the guitars outside the gift shop. They let you play the lower end guitars with no supervision (they are hanging on the walls) but you need special permission to go into a room to try the more expensive models. They give a very interesting and informative tour of the factory, and they allow pictures! You will both love it.

We live in NJ and it is a favorite joyride for musician husband and son.
Enjoy!

It is a very interesting place to visit. Be sure to find out if you need to make a reservation. It's been several years since I was there and things may have changed regarding admission. You won't regret visiting here!
