The above was a father son (20 y.old) adventure trip. Rafting two different rivers. Zip lining. Going to the turtle area. Pretty quick paced, but it was GREAT!
The Hotel in San Jose was a great way to start although it was more native than lux. We had a driver (provided) for all the land transportation or to get us to the boat or bus.
The Monte Verde part was a "must" due to the unbelievable zip line experience. The volcano at Arenal was also memorable. The hot springs in Arenal were too. Tortugero was the Caribbean side. Pacuare is both a raft in (you get there by rafting) Lodge The Pacuare Jungle Lodge, Costa Rica - The Ultimate eco lodge Experience in Costa Rica
and a second day raft out to a pull-out to head back to San Jose.
Because the tour company owns the Pacuare Lodge, the actual price you pay for there is not the posted rate and it was fabulous, especially at the end of the trip
