| ^^That it is.
Kitkat, sorry you caught the bug. I hope you got the abridged 24 hour version.
Mountains, great job with the phone call.
It is here. The long awaited FA packet arrived. It was not sent out last weekend as we were told, which explains why we've been waiting so long. Even for our mail, the wait seemed excessive. Now I just have to wait for S to get home and open it! Once that is done we can start firming up college visit plans. |

| 2blue: I remember a post about putting envelopes in the freezer to unseal, or ironing them but don't try anything dangerous. I don't want that on my conscience. Honestly, I opened FA stuff since we (the parents) are handling that end of things.
mythmom: "Fortune plango...." roughly translates to "I bemoan the wounds of Fortune with weeping eyes." Kind of sums it up, doesn't it? |

| Yes, it does, and beautifully, too.
We opened F/A stuff too, for jnsq's reason. Kids wanted nothing to do with it, anyway.
We'll, April is the cruelest month, but it won't be long now. |

| Still no posting of the FA we are waiting for (was supposed to be online today latest). I called University of Michigan - no answer.
So far today I am living on gatorade. When my son had this, I feel that he made it linger due to some poor diet decisions (arby curly fries, taco bell, you name it). So I am doing the BRAT diet! |

| Carmina Burana and Gilbert & Sullivan at our house too. At one point, my son learned all the verses of the Star Spangled Banner and could come up with an inspiring rendition.. |

| My kids can judge my mood by the music that's playing when they get home from school. Today? Andrea Bocelli. It's a good day |

| I'm sad to say (sad for me) that DS can sing the words to every single Dylan song and every single Beatles song, including "I Am the Walrus."
He has also sung Carmina Burana, and unlike me, is a Latin scholar.
We did sing a lot of Mozart arias, primarily from "The Marriage of Figaro." |

| wow, and I was so proud when my 4th grader answered the question 'what famous person would you like to have lunch with', by responding 'the guy who wrote The Angels Want To Wear My Red Shoes'. |

| Good morning! Thanks for the coffee.
Well, the FA package from the LAC was better than other FA packages from LACs, but it couldn't hold a candle to some of S's other offers. This school was one of his top choices so it was sad. S pretty much expected it, but I know there was that spark of hope. |
