D loved British Airways. Said it was far better than Aer Lingus or Delta.

No problem at Heathrow.

We saved $300 dollars going Aer Lingus with change at Shannon, but then D had her passport stamped in Dublin, which was a headache because she didn't get a stamp at Heathrow. It would have been alright had she known what to do.

I suggest you make the effort for the Visa because the law just changed, and they're really disorganized and every office will tell you something different. Legally you don't need a visa if he's studying under sixth months, but not every office knows that, and it turned into a "Much Ado About Nothing" headache. Nothing was wrong, but D was afraid to travel. And then they told her she had to travel. All crazy things.

So Visa is best.

And by the way,

Happy Birthday to Shakespeare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As others have mentioned, looking on individual airlines sites may be the best, but to start you can get a good idea of low fares by trying Cheap Flights, Cheap Hotels, Cheap Airfare, Airline Tickets, Travel Deals - SideStep, which also shows prices for departing from or arriving at nearby airports.
