It was a tragic Derby Day. Attended a Derby party and the cheers turned quiet once we saw what happened to Eight Belles... I grew up in Kentucky and still get teary singing My Old Kentucky Home each May. I unboxed my Derby hat and had a mint julep -- it's a wonderful ritual... Wish it had not been so sad for so many this year.
