| Sweet Pea by bath & body works. They don't make perfume, but it's a lovely body spray. |

| my daughter likes be delicious by DKNY
I don't wear perfume- ( I have had men come up to me & ask what I am wearing though ) ( I usually use Weleda skin food that has lavendula, rosmarinus & sweet orange oil- its a wonderfully nourishing cream)
One guy swore that I had this on Penhaligons Bluebell Perfume, I had never even heard of it, but it sounds like a nice summer scent
One of my favorite scents that they quit making about 30 years ago- was Calvin Klein. It was the very first scent they made I think, and I haven't found any to compare to it.
I also like Calyx by prescriptives. But you really have to try things on yourself. |

| I use Clinique's Happy for casual wear in the summer. It's not bad. Since I buy Clinique makeup I get free Happy scent every so often. I also have a scent from Origins that I love. It's a bit fruity but also subtle and more mature than something a twelve year old would wear. It comes across as slightly flirty. It's really good for going out somewhere on a summer evening. I think it's grapefruit of some sort. My roommate also has one I really like, but I don't know what it is. I think it may be called Clear Water, Blue Waters, something like that. |

| I try other things every now & then, but I keep coming back to Shalimar.
I have a bottle of Chanel Chance which is a little lighter & better for summer, but Shalimar is def the one for me - a signature scent I guess.
I've also used a lot of pure cocoa butter for moisturizing which is a great scent in itself (has to be the pure stuff from Palmers). Lately I've gotten on an organic coconut oil kick instead of cocoa butter - not as greasy & REALLY makes your skin stay soft for a long long time. I like it better b/c there is NOTHING else added. Both of those give you a nice, natural clean scent - not as strong or "artificial" smelling as perfume. |

| Things that smell edible (vanilla, almond, coconut).
The little "Mary Kate & Ashley" spray colognes they sell at CVS and other drugstores actually smell pretty good. The one in the blue box is called "One," the yellow one is "Two" (duh). We have One, and it's very nice.
My older daughter loves the Nina Ricci perfume that comes in an apple-shaped bottle. It's expensive, but if you look on eBay people often sell the little sample size sprayers. I think we got three or them for 5 or 6 dollars. Nice if you're unsure or don't wear cologne very often. |

| My Dad was the nose for Firmeniche...one thing he taught me was the scent you wear might not work well on someone else...that being said, for me it is Calvin Klein Obsession for the Fall and Eternity for the spring/summer.
My sister can't wear it doesn't smell the same she wears Clinique
Whatever winter scent you wear, go and ask for a small sample (the little tube size) in a lighter scent...i.e. Obsession/Eternity...Ralph Lauren/Romance
Also a cheap way is to go to Wal-Mart/CVS/Walgreens and get the knock off body spray (believe it or not my Dad invented them)...the spray has the chemical makeup so it will hold as the original scent does, but not as long. |

| bz2010: I haven't worn scent for 20+ years, but used to wear Shalimar. I still have a bit left in the old bottle, and I often take a sniff. Unique and beautiful -- it takes me back in time. |

| Shalimar will always remind me of my mother. She's still conserving the last bottle my father gave her probably 30 or more years ago. |
