Nest of mud, this house
a summer's brood has nurtured.

I am trying a Waka (5-7-5-7-7)

Coming back from camp
Plans always remain as plans
Time is passing by
Wherever he wants to go
No work makes no difference

"One week" - such small words;
Why am I fighting back tears
Each time I think them?

Son drove off today
Eager to get back to school
He won't miss home - much.

But we will miss him.
Isn't this what I wanted?
He is happy there.
