| Cold shoulder from Tufts for canceling?
D had signed up for a Tufts visit and info session for a date in Sept.--they had been very quick to reply to her initial inquiry. Then it turned out we had to postpone. She sent an email a week or so before expressing regret about postponing (but not immediately requesting a new date) and got a very cordial "hope to welcome you another time to our campus" from an admissions person.
We then figured out a way to shift her schedule and were hoping to go up tomorrow (Sun. 10/17) and spend the day there Monday. She signed up on their website to do that about ten days ago, but no confirmation came as it had the first time. She then sent an email a few days later; no reply. I sent an email directed to the person who signed the "welcome" email; no reply from her either. Furthermore, now D can't get on the Tufts website she had registered on--it's not accepting her user name/password. (No connection to the brief Medford power outage.)
I didn't call or tell D to call, because I found Tufts' lack of response annoying. They may be tied up with Parents' Weekend stuff, but still.
Are we getting spanked for canceling? If so--it's a real turnoff. Tufts is a good match for her. Am I just being paranoid here?
