I'd rather be watched by Dopey than the entire crew of the Starship Enterprise.

I can't beat the life-size cut out of Mr. Spock.

But, I do have right next to me on the (supposedly) fancy, professional-looking desk: the eight-year old's pink jewelry box, each drawer stuffed with 'clothes' for her extensive stuffed-animal collection. Biz papers are covered w/a layer of hello kitty stickers, pink hair ribbons, etc.

There's a reason I go to the library to work...

Ooooh - I want the bobble head too. To recap, I want the Spock cutout and the Jesus bobble head.

An antique sewing machine currently serving as a TV stand, and an art deco side table that lived in my college dorm room and has been me every since. Notice the "old junk" theme here?

A 60" plotter/printer.... all the photos from my H's side of the family (pre 1940) waiting to be gone through and divided..... a life-sized Elvis cut-out (Spock would have been much more popular but I saw Elvis at the curb and had to rescue him...)

About the oddest thing I have is a framed photo of my in-laws.

And I have what Kelowna has. Plus a lot of dust.

And I have crates of genealogy documents - old photos, copies of wills and documents from centuries ago, old diaries from long-dead relatives, etc.

Today sitting on my desk is a box of 16 Crayola crayons that belonged to my H as a child. Has his name (diminuative form) crayoned on the back. Pack cost 25 cents. Pulled them out because one of my piano students needed to borrow crayons to finish his homework while a family member had her lesson. They were fascinated with these "antiques."

I have a wall of plaques commemorating various patents awarded to my H over the years.

None of it seems weird to me, but suppose it might to someone else.

Oh. And my walls are painted a shade of bluish-purple, because I liked the color and didn't have to share this room with anyone.

Don't have a home office (lug crates of papers onto the kitchen table as needed)--but I do have a life size Barney that I could bring if we ever have a convention of these hilarious totems. Kids talked the grocery store out of it as a surprise for my husband's birthday (he Hated Barney) and we have kept it to "welcome home" people periodically. this is a great thread!

my "office" is in the front room ( since that is as far as we could get the roll top desk), so it is pretty messy but no weirdness- however I will suggest for all your weird office needs

An ostrich egg, at least 6 images of the Virgin Mary, (+St. Francis, St. Michael, Guardian Angel and probably a few more), I think Elvis (1999 heart-shaped valentine candy box top with Hawaiian Elvis picture) is in the bedroom now.

AND an 11"X14" color drawing of a young girl holding up (on a chain) two large bass that she (or dad?) just caught. The girl's mouth is wide open and she is sticking out her tongue as far as possible. (I imagine she's saying, "Help! Get these disgusting things away from me!")--H received this picture as a gift. We don't fish. We have no idea who the girl is, though she does look a lot like one of our daughters. I would like to get rid of it, but the expression is so funny. . .

OK. I just noticed that our wedding cake topper is in here--that's weird.
(We moved last year, and nothing has been organized yet).

Two cow hoofs.

They are for the dogs to gnaw on, instead of something else.
