Dinner? Why cook dinner?

When you still check here daily...and your kids have nothing to do with the college application process...nothing.

When every piece of advice/information you give your child begins or ends with "that's what someone on CC said!"
Guilty! And it doesn't matter what the topic is.

you find yourself hoping good things for kids you have never met as much as you are hoping for good things for your own kids.

You realize you really want the entire set of 3.0-3.3 student thread kids to get into their first choice and most of the kids you know in you rHS to get into only their safety!

When you get all your news flashes from CC instead of TV or radio or the actual news sites.

When you quickly minimize the screen when someone walks into the room so they won't see that you are looking at CC again.

...your kids notice that you've got "cyber" friends because you quote things you've read from other posters on CC. I also don't want to "share" my cc friends with my friends...so i don't tell them about cc.

When I rush to read new posts by some of my favs such as poetgirl, ghostbuster, matori.suzuki, and others.

Miss everything my boss just said on a conference call because I couldn't stop myself from taking a peek at CC.

And pretty much everything else post #1-40^

So true, dragonmom, about having to make up real friends to explain the new things I've learned. My family is on to me when I say "I heard that...." They know where I've heard it!

When you skip most HS, College and Grad School reunions, but seriously consider suggesting an Accepted Students Day dinner for NJ area CC parents
