When you read the "small life" post and SERIOUSLY think about whether we should have online funerals so CCers can attend...

As my DD once said to me, "You don't POST on that thing, do you?"
when your DD sees that you have joined the Facebook CC Parents group and writes on your wall, "Please tell me you did not do that!"

and when most of the preceeding posts (burning or forgetting to start making dinner, making up RL friends to quote instead of CC, getting your news on CC) make you laugh until you cry

When you see the title of this thread and settle into the sofa knowing that absolutely nothing on TV could possibly compare, for pure entertainment value, than what you are about to read.

When other parents ask you, "Where in the world did you learn all this stuff about colleges?"

When you start to think that any SAT score less than a 2300 is bad and astronomically decreases your chances of getting into HYPSM

(you also start using HYPSM & other CC terms)

when you're sitting in a hotel room in London, thinking you'll just read one more thread because when you're done, it will have stopped raining, so you can go out and see the sights.

Uh, oh, the sun just came out... see ya.

If you've copied threads in a Word doc, presented them to your kid because the advice/info was just so amazing...multiple times. And you've done it enough, and the advice has been good enough, that he'll actually read these documents with interest, now.

when you hear an interesting news story in the a.m. and immediately think "I should start a CC thread about that".
