I have collected baskets in the past and enjoy using them for lots of unique storage purposes...I can sometimes be a worrier - so on another board I used a form of the word "a basket case" - now shortened to "abasket" |

I think mine is self-explanatory. I try to be a good person, but I sure have room to grow. I hope I learn something new each day. I hope I learn how to be gracious and forgiving. I hope I learn to keep my wisecracks to a minimum. I see myself as a work in progress and hope that by the end of my life, it has been worthwhile.

Well, I'll tell you that it's atom - mom, not ato - mom. I thought it sounded funny (like atom bomb), and I'm a small insignificant person. . .but I don't want to give too much identifying info, so I can't tell you what atom really stands for.
I got a C- in high school chemistry, so it's nothing to do with that.

So you won't see Toledo any longer
| I guess it's toodloo to toledo in name only.
Some of the screen names conjure up images - I can just picture 'tututaxi' toting little ballerinas around and picture 'paying3tuitions' having to write those tuition checks with a grimace on her face.

I'd like to think my screen name is pretty self explanatory. I joined in seeking to Find A Place for my S, who is now a senior. What I didn't realize at the time is that posters will often abbreviate others screen names. Thus I became FAP. And so it is ....

Mine is a chess term that Monk would appreciate: it literally means "I adjust" and it's used when a player wants to adjust a piece on its square without being required to move it. I find it interesting that only two people have mentioned it, one asked if I play chess (yes) and another asked if I was French (no).

My high school senior dd does Highland dance, so we're always going to Highland Games. We wrap it with college visits as much as possible |

POIH: I created this login as my DD was, well!, very interested in Yale and wanted do EECS followed by MD. Since she and all her friends were too much in to Ivies so I rightfully picked up the name 'ParentOfIvyHope'.
Over the last 2 years based on DD interests and college tours, Yale moved lower and lower and finally dropped out of her college list.
She applied to her top college city (Cambridge) and top choice college (MIT) early action along with Caltech and got into both.
Still she had applied to Harvard, Princeton and Cornell before EA result. She was accepted to Princeton, and Cornell but rejected at Harvard.
So in the end the login was justified even though DD choose not to join an Ivy after applying to 3 and getting acceptances from 2.
