Airports and Waiting

I'm planning to head out to LAX a little bit early tomorrow evening (7pm for a 10pm flight, but that's how I normally do things -- extra early). I want to watch a movie or a DVD while waiting for the flight to depart -- are there any places where I can charge my laptop/not use my battery while watching a movie?

The best places to find plugs are on seats next to the pillars that separate the windows at the gate.

There are numerous outlets through out the terminal to charge up your laptop, the problem is dodging the soldiers leaving for Iraq in order to get an outlet.
