Belmont In Nashville, Music Business

I am wondering about the validity of Belmont University. Has anyone gotten a Music Business degree? How difficult was it to find a job after graduating and is a degree from Belmont worth the expense? My son wants to go there but we are anxious because of the whole music industry being such a tough market to get into. We are worried he won't find a job after he's spent so much on school, and don't want him to end up with a dead end degree. Any and all comments will be appreciated. Thanks

I have no idea how difficult it is to find a job after graduating, and whether the degree is in fact worth the expense. I know from various people who have investigated this for their children that there isn't any similar program elsewhere that is clearly better, or even clearly as good. Obviously, the music business has plenty of people in it who don't have "Music Business" degrees, but if you are going to look for a specialized degree the Belmont program is as good as it gets. And well-funded, too. A lot of grateful people sold a lot of records while that kind of thing was still happening.
