Anyone approved for Parent Plusw/Bankruptcy

A friend of mine applied for a parent plus loan and was approved even though her bankruptcy was less than 5 years ago. Has anyone been approved with a bankrupcty less than 5 years old? I'm starting to get nervous. My D graduates in May and will be a freshman in the fall. I'm afraid I won't be approved because of a prior bankruptcy. Other than the discharged bankruptcy 4 years ago, my credit is great. Please help? Anyone!

If your friend was approved for a plus loan, why do you think you might not be? The plus loans are very lenient and you may be pleasantly surprised. When u apply it's either a yes or no and you find out instantly.

Update: I was denied a parent plus loan because my bankruptcy was less than 5 years ago.

Im sorry to hear that. Your daughter can get $4000 more in Stafford loans now because of it.
