| Parent-to-Parent Advisors for Specific Majors...
If nothing else, CC is a great resource for parents and students. The only problem, as with all forums, is that much of the information gets buried as time goes on and the useful threads fall to Page 2, Page 3, Page....
So I propose that this thread be a pointer to parents with some experience (with their S/Ds) in college admissions for specific majors. It will be a list of associations for majors so that a parent starting the process can PM the listed parents to get some questions answered and to help with college selection, etc... These parents may not be THE experts, but can still share some experiences.
Some of the names for some majors will immediately come to mind, but I don't want to volunteer others for getting PM questions. So I'll start off with me, and others can add themselves. Perhaps we can keep the list alphabetized by major.
