Well, so what if this is my "what is my chance" thread?

Based on all these ~400 answers, I am feeling a lot better now about DD's chance of getting some merit $$.

Thanks.

Check out Dad II's advice on the "too much stress" thread.

Quote:
What is there to worry?
If your D has done her part with her best effort and all the documents are in. Then it is out of her hands and worrying does not help at all.

And it's good to see that you've taken these posts to heart, DadII. As you just wrote to another worried parent:

Quote:

"And all the documents are in". I especially like that touch.

Ever notice that when one of his threads dies down, Dad II tries to revive it?

Please, don't feed the troll.

Not if you keep pulling the plug on her computer during essay writing and submission.

I am not sure if Dad II actually unplugged the computer, he may be yanking our chains on this thread.

I just read one of his posts about taking his daughter to Ohio State's Maximum Scholarship competition. From what I gathered applicants are interviewed and applicants are asked to write an essay onsite.
