As a west coast mom who has (permanently, I think) "lost" her daughter to the east coast, I'd say, "noooooooooooo "to Wellesley!

Besides, I love Scripps. I think I posted here last year that if there were one school I could choose for a "do over," it would be Scripps.

Congrats to your daughter, BB. Great choices!

My southern boys both love Boston and don't mind the weather. In fact they live for snow days to play snow football and frisbee. One will be graduating in June and moving to NYC, but the other is an MIT freshman (who wears shorts year-round) and I'm sure would be happy to show your daughter around Boston!

There are no bad choices for your daughter. Congratulations

Thank you all! I see the vote is pretty much evenly split, so I hope D will make her decision soon and there will not be a need for a recount Just kidding.

ChiSquare, yes, it is a nice headache to have. I wish you and your D the same next year

over30 and vulture3, I think my D is in love with snow. It is such a rare commodity in our neck of the woods that every snowflake is greeted with open arms and evry snowman's melting death is deeply mourned.
