"^^^" (re post 192 who didn't get answered back in Sept) usually means - in response to the post directly above. Sometimes though, on a busy thread there will be a few posts in between.

DS/DD can mean darn as well as dear.

After 300 posts, you stop being a Junior Member and become a Member. After 1,000 posts you're a Senior Member.

Which means absolutely nothing!

There is a minimum of 10 characters required to post on the forums. When someone's content is shorter than that, they will sometimes add "10 char." to fill out the required number of characters so they can post.

I like DD and DH because of the flexibility (dear or damn, depending on my mood or maybe it's their mood,LOL)

At our school, APUSH is called USHAP. We also have MEHAP and HAmLit (Honors American Lit). That last one really threw me "You're going to spend a whole year on Hamlet?

LAC is a Liberal Arts College ie Amherst, Wesleyan, Williams, Harvey Mudd, etc.
