I just found this thread and hope to give you all a chuckle. A post card arrived in the summer for one of those multi-college admissions nights. It had in large letters: BROWNMITYALE My husband (should I say DH) thought it was odd that D received a post card ad for a beer called "Brown Mity Ale".

That may have been after he'd had a beer or two LOL.

Very funny, OHmy. Would someone tell me what HMFR stands for? I searched this thread for it with no luck. The Parents of 2017 seem very concerned with HMFR schools -- to me, it looks like an abbreviation for something folks from my alma mater might shout at a Harvard football game.

What do DD and DS mean? I know what D, S, DX, SX (where X is the birth order) mean in the context of family trees, though.
