If you mean college search, yes, she applied ED.
But if you mean kid wise, no I have a S who is applying to BS so I have to wait until March 10th for that.
Ulcer time for me!

| UC Riverside Acceptance
My son was accepted into UC Riverside yesterday.
I am very proud of him!
Now we can wait for the other 5 UC schools, USC, and Univ of Washington with a lot less anxiety!
It was interesting that he received the news via email. No more rushing to the mailbox everyday to see if that fat envelope is there........

This waiting is so nerve-wracking that I'm starting to try to read things between the lines! One college's financial aid office called to clarify some info on D's CSS Profile--that makes it pretty darn likely she's accepted, right? I can't believe the financial aid office works on that stuff for all applicants, only the accepted ones...

Try not to read into these messages. At need blind schools, the financial aid office works independent from the admissions group and at non-need blind schools, need may determine acceptance or rejection. It can go either way. Good luck...

You're right...I am trying to do way too much divination right now! This waiting game is hard when you're doing Regular Decision.
Note to self: You know you might have Helicopter Parent tendencies if *you* are more anxious for the acceptance letters than you *child*. Chill out already!!

ncsu is a great engineering school with lots of coop opportunities..good thing to do, b/c it gives you a real edge in the competition..will lengthen college by a year, but well worth it

Yeah! DD just notified that she was awarded the Presidential Scholarship at Messiah. It's $15,540/year. So happy for her. She has worked so hard throughout these years.

Hey, zman13! Yes, there are other tigers here! I just happened to look here by chance. I didn't reply to the question about the BR airport because I don't know anything about it. I bet if there is a contact phone no. for orientation they could help you out with that. Congratulations again!
