Depends what kind of career. NYU is a targe school for many banks, especially in NYC. Many students also get good internships during school year.
I am not a fan of NYU because I think it's very expensive, no campus, lack the traditional college experience. But it seems to be a very popular school at the moment.
A year ago I'd have said NYU, hands down. But economic conditions have changed. My neighbor's D is graduating from NYU this month. She did an internship with Lehman Bros last summer and was told to expect a job offer. Pffftt. That said, oldfort is right -- it does depend on what the student's career aspirations are.
