dstark,
Just one Nora cost CA taxpayers about $200K. You are okay with that, but I am not.

I don't see it that way.

Where are you getting the $200,000?

Please, dstark, don't make me go there.

But if I must...: 5-12 grades @ $10K per year
UCLA COA about $50K per year

I know you can do the math better than me

If my daughter went to UCLA instead of Nora, UCLA would not have received $50,000 a year.

I know. But I would be happy to subsidize your D at UCLA.

My daughter is educated. Nora is educated. Hopefully Nora is now a productive member of society and is paying the government back.

An investment in education can pay back big time. Even if the students were once illegal immigrants.

And I know you know that, Bay. That's one reason you found this site.

You guys will just lie and lie and lie to assert your side huh? The fact is that Nora is costing the state no more than any other low income student whose family doesn't pay state income taxes. And last I checked, that's a very sizable proportion.

So are you saying you think this is a good thing? (also, where is the "lie?")
