SUNY IT @Utica open house

Took an open house of this school with my son this past weekend. He loved it because the students that were there were very much like him and the campus is "new". However, I have my concerns about the very minimal number of students that had stayed on campus for the weekend. I thought that the school must have been on break because there were so few students there and only 2 in the library. I also had concerns about the minimal facilitaties in relation to the number of students they claim have, though 4 new buildings are being built to be ready for 2011.

Anyone have any feeling for the campus life, etc.? Thanks.
