When should I expect to receive admittance (or not)?
My status recently changed to "Your application is complete, all of your required materials are here, and we are reviewing your credentials. A decision will be available here as soon as one is made." I applied in late September so when should I start obsessively check that page? haha Thanks
Acceptances are posted starting the first week in November. There's really no way to predict how quickly you will hear. In our case, our older son had that same message appear on his account for three months before his acceptance was posted. And his stats were better than our second son, who received an acceptance much quicker. So, at least in our case, it wasn't true that the quickest acceptance goes to the student with top stats.
Thanks momwriter! DS submitted his application in mid-Sept. Penn State is really his top choice right now and he is anxious to hear from them. Keeping fingers crossed for early November! He "should" have all the stats needed to get in an the Honors College wants him to apply - so I am hoping that is a good sign.
