Last year, when my D auditioned, they said that 350 were auditioning and there would be 16 slots available. That should give you a general idea even if there are any changes.

Hi actrss100-
Susan was pretty accurate with the numbers from last year. Hasn't changed much! They offer around 20-25 acceptances to yield a class of 12-15. They are trying to keep the class sizes down since it is a smaller tight-knit program. I'm glad to hear its one of your top choices! Have you auditioned yet??

TheatreJock, Actrss100, and ThespainDreams:
I will be signing you in in the morning, so please introduce yourself to me! I was just informed that the audition will be split (this is usually done only on the last audition) but there are so many people this year on the second to last date. This means that all of the auditionees will be split in half--one half will audition in a rehearsal space and the other will be on stage. Therefore, half the faculty will watch you. If you get an interview, they might ask you to sing again. When I auditioned, this is what I did )

Any physical features or any type of hint to be able to indentify you? Would be kind of an embarrasing start to introduce myself to the wrong person and say "hi i'm theatrejock."..... "well thats a nice name theatrejock, good luck today"...lol

Theatrejock--
There are only two of us signing you in, and I'm the skinny brown haired one that doesn't have a Canadian accent ) My name is Casey, and also for any parents coming tomorrow--my mom will be the parent advocate at the question and answer session for parents this weekend.

ThespianDreams, I don't know what the exact number is for callbacks on a particular on campus audition day and I imagine it might vary from audition day to audition day. I recall roughly about 12-15 or so last year on the day my daughter auditioned.
