Can someone answer my question

Hey everyone,

I auditioned for Penn States musical theatre program on February 4, 2008 in Chicago, and they said that Id hear back in about a month. A couple of my friends auditioned after me, in New York and on Penn State campus, and they both heard back before me...they were however rejected. They were notified within a week. I know i should just be patient, so i am not calling the school or emailing anyone. I just check the mail every day ten times before it comes, only to find out nothing is there...

What are your thoughts on this. How is it looking for me?

Thanks a lot, and I hope you guys don't keep me waiting to lol

There is nothing wrong with calling Paula at the School of Theatre office and asking your status. She is very, very sweet and you deserve to know your status! It wouldn't be considered "breaking down" and not being patient anymore :-) Those are my thoughts!

Let me chime in to say that psucat is right once again : Paula is VERY sweet and helpful and friendly. She responds very promptly to email inquiries, too. Plus, there is nothing wrong with showing that you care and are very interested in the status of your application. Best of luck!
