has anyone else been waitlisted?

and what do you guys think? is there a chance of getting off of it this year??

I called a few weeks ago and I was told that they would be taking people off their waitlist this year.

I accepted a spot on the wait list and sent in a letter of continued interest a while ago but never got any confirmation from Pitzer. Another school sent me a letter acknowledging the fact that I accepted a spot on their wait list. Does Pitzer do this?

Also, has anyone heard back from Pitzer yet? Quite a few other schools have started to take students off the wait list and I was just wondering if Pitzer is among them yet.

Unless they have already gone to the waitlist, my guess would be that Pitzer will not be utilizing it. One of the reps. posted that they had currently committed 259 students for next year, which would be around (if not over) the yield they seemed to have projected.

They have contacted some students on the waitlist to offer a space.

I haven't heard anything from them. Sent a letter and everything. I'm definitely going somewhere else, though.
