unifide point park

I got in acedemically to point park within 4 days of sending my application, i don't think it is that challenging to get in with grades, and they gave me a ton of scholarship but i am waiting to hear from their MT program. I know at unifides (NYC) they said after they got back from the tour they would file everything and hopefulyl within 2 weeks of that get everything out. That point hasn't past yet but I just wanted to know if anyone who auditioned during unifides had heard anything as of yet. : ).

It's the first school for MT that I've heard from! I auditioned in San Francisco and LA for PPU as well as a lot of other schools, so I'm still waiting to hear. It feels great to be accepted somewhere though!

I would go ahead and make your deposit if you like, after all you can get it back. In fact I made my deposited before my audition! However don?t make any rash decisions, wait to see what other schools offer you, for example I just received a very nice scholarship from Ithaca with acceptance into the MT program.

Not to shatter your dreams of being the only guy accepted into Point Park but I am of the male gender as well! J

Congrats to both of you!!!

lol... not to shatter your dreams.. i LOVE it! haha, i was in pittsburgh for my cmu audition this weekend, and i was the last person to audition on the last day. talk about scary. lol. anyways, i went to point park and then went to their theatre rep. and its totes adorable! The campus is a little small for me.. its very "boco" esque in that it is small, and basically on 2 blocks of a street ina city... but the theatre conservatory is a good 5-10 minute drive away... but i liked it a lot none the less. I'm going to send my deposit..just to make sure i certainly have SOMEWHERE to go in september. : ). thanks for the help guys!!! maybe ill see ya in 6 months lol...

1songglory: im auditioning for ithaca next week..and really don't know which one of these schools id go to if i didnt get into the top 3 i have right now. do you know which one your going to pick if these are your only two acceptances? just wondering. ttyl!

Deposit

FYI, my son was accepted and sent in a deposit on Nov- he declined about three weeks ago after other acceptances, and we got the deposit back a week ago. So the "refund" process is not lengthy, if you need it.
