Getting there

My s plans to attend a summer dance intensive at pp and will likely be arriving via amtrak. How far is campus from the train station? Would you suggest a cab or is there subway, bus?

While there is a subway stop only a few blocks from school, I dont know how close to Amtrak it is to start. The Amtrak station is not that far from school, about 15 - 20 blocks away. I would imagine that it would be less than a $10.00 taxi ride - and with luggage would probably be less stressful for his arrival. Once there my daughter tells me the buses are not that hard to figure out, but probably more than most teens need for the first day. Please let me know if you need more info, my daughter is a freshman there and I can fill in a few blanks.

Thanks. That's helpful. I'll suggest that he take a cab.
