Visiting the School/Conservatory of Performing Arts?

For anyone that has visited PPU while college hunting, is there a way to get in contact with the Conservatory of Performing Arts directly and receive a tour of the music/theatre/dance facilities specifically? Or is this all covered by making an appointment with the university?

The Office of Admissions hosts several on-campus events throughout the academic year including four Open House programs. You can register online to attend an Open House. If you are unable to attend an on-campus event, you can contact the Office of Admissions at
(412) 392-3430 or 1-800-321-0129 to schedule your one-on-one individual appointment to meet with an admissions counselor and receive a tour of the campus.

Along with this, does anyone know if it is possible for accepted prospective students to sit in on classes? I would love to sit in on a few acting classes just to see what kind of work is done, as that is the program I was admitted to. Would I be allowed to do that? If so, who do I contact?

Thank you!

I spoke to my daughter who is a senior musical theatre major at Point Park and she said you can contact the COPA department and ask for John Shepard or Jack Allison. Either of them should be able to help you out. She said prospective students come to sit in all the time.
