It's one thing that attracts me to Pomona, I have to say...the whole concept is so devilish and ritualistic yet exciting. Just like everything else about Pomona! (Well, minus the ritualistic part ahaha)
I saw a good picture my friend took on that same day with palm trees in the foreground, snowy peaks in the distance and beautiful clear blue skies. It really makes you realize how spoiled you are (weather-wise) as a student
Do people really rely on this form of transportation? How late does it run in both directions? And then do you have to take a taxi to get around once you are in L.A.?
I use the metrolink a good deal and so do my friends. The metrolink connects you to Los Angeles Union Station and from there you can take buses and underground trains to get around the city. You don't need to use a taxi. However, it does not run that late which sucks pretty bad. My friend and I really wanted to go to a night baseball game but can't because we can't get back once we get to union station. But it works pretty well and chances are you will have a friend with a car to take you places you might need to go.
