I've actually been surprised at the lack of arrogant students (especially considering how much each student typically has to be proud of) for the most part, people tend to be modest and humble about their achievements, and you may know someone for a long time before it is revealed to you that they have done something truly spectacular.....I guess people have different experiences.

Don't take what **************.com says too seriously. There is all this information that you DO NOT KNOW about those who are posting. Posters do not have to verify they've ever had extensive contact with the school, and those who do not like the school have infinite opportunity to creat many accounts and vote until their viewpoint is reflected on the site. I would recommend TALKING to a current student and express your concerns to them.
Do not confuse self-assuredness/confidence for arrogance. Manifestation of one's intelligence can sometimes be misinterpreted for arrogance--it's all in the eye, and perception, of the beholder.
