Does anyone on this thread know how do these two majors compare, and what types of graduate programs and careers do students pursue after completing either one of these two tracks.
Also, how does the Pomona neuroscience program compare to the Joint Science Neuroscience at the other Claremont schools?
I know of someone who turned down a Fulbright to go to work at the National Institute of Health in D.C. She was a cognitive science major.
A good chunk of the students headed to medical school did neuro.
Pomona recently opened two new buildings for Neuro and Cog-sci (Lincoln and Edmunds). If you search the Pomona forum some stuff about that should turn up.
