Chances for a Prospective Student! =D

Hey guys! I was really wondering if anyone could be so kind as to give my profile a chance. Acceptance at Pomona is highly selective and I'd really like to see what kind of a chance I have at being accepted. Thanks for all the help. I appreciate it!

Surburban South Carolinian
Asian-American (specifically Vietnamese)
Full IB Diploma candidate
GPA: UW: 3.962 (including middle school)/4.0 (excluding middle school) W: 5.090
Class rank: 10/~200 (extremely competitive, though Idk if that factors in at all)
SAT: 2130 (700 CR; 690 M; 740 W), will retake in Oct.
ACT: N/A (will take in Oct. just as a comparison
SAT II's: 740 Biology; 720 US History...I'm retaking Bio and also taking German with listening.

All I have to say is that something is seriously wrong with the admissions process if you don't get in ANYWHERE you apply. I don't mean to get your hopes up to where you feel you're fully set, because anything can happen. However, I think you have a great shot at getting in. Keep it up!

The competitiveness of your HS will be taken into consideration. You may want to work on getting your Math SAT score up, especially if you're acing your math classes. SAT scores are sometimes compared against classroom grades. Otherwise, you should be a very competitive candidate for admission.

how in the world is your wgpa above a 5?

Well, our county district has an extremely strange system of weighting grades, so I generally just look at my GPA out of 4.0. I'm hoping that my October SAT scores are better =P, and I'm prepping now for the SAT II's in November. Bwah.
