Surfing Club?

Is there a weekend beach or surfing club? The trips posted on OTL seem to be overnight camping type trips only. Do the students have a way to get to the beaches on the weekend or is it on your own? I don't see that they have a surfing club. Thanks in advance.

surfing trips are posted fairly regularly on OTL; in fact, one is up right now

Getting to the beaches is usually on your own, but OTL trip leaders can make use of school cars if they sign up for them in time

Thanks, my daughter noticed HMC has their own surfing club. Can pomona kids join claremont clubs that are not listed under 5 College organizations?

It is exceptionally rare for clubs to not allow students from other schools to join (Even the Pomona Student Union has a member form CMC).

OTL is a student run club and has all the equipment and know how to go surfing - If they aren't offering Surfing trips, it would be easy for your daughter to either request them or lead some herself.

There is (pretty well-funded) a surfing club at Pomona. They aren't as 'visible' as other clubs because their events are off-campus, but it's pretty easy to join.
