I'm so excited, I just got accepted to Pratt this past weekend for fashion design. I didn't think I was going to get in, especially because my fine arts portfolio was weak in my opinion.

But yes have any other students here have applied or have been accepted yet?

Congratulations. Check out the Pratt Community on Live Journal. There was recently a very favorable entry about the Fashion Design Department. D suite mate is in that program (foundation year). She was able to "help out" during fashion week in NYC due to the fact her fashion prof was able to arrange for a short internship for interested fashion students.

Wow that must have been a really cool experienced. I'll try to check out live journal, although everytime i go on there, i don't get anywhere because i can't find any school's community
